1 am directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey to ack-

nowledge the receipt of your letter of the 12th in-

stant in regard to the desire of the Far Eastern

Association of Tropical Medicine to be supplied at

their meeting in 1912 with certain information on the

subject of opium.

Sir E. Grey sees no objection to meeting the

wishes of the Association.
